How can I be saved"

There is only one way to gain eternal life.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" –Romans 6:23

You must first believe that all people are sinners.

"As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one." –Romans 3:10

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." –Romans 3:23

Because you are not perfect, you are not worthy of eternal life in heaven. But God loved you so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place.

"He had made Him (Jesus, who knew no sin) to be sin for us... that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him" – II Corinthians 5:21

"But God commended His. love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" –Romans 5:8

Jesus had to shed his blood and die because without the shedding of blood there is no remission (pardon) of sin.

But through his death and resurrection "we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins" –Ephesians 1:7

You can not save yourself.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and yet not of yourselves, it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any. man should boast" –Ephesians 2:8-9

"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" –Romans 6:23

If you desire to be saved, you must trust in Jesus, the one who died to pay for your sins. Confess that you are a sinner, repent (ask forgiveness), and ask God to save you. Receive his free gift of everlasting life and accept Jesus as your Savior.

A Prayer: O God, I know that I am a sinner, please forgive me of my sins, I believe Jesus was my substitute when he died on he cross. I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and his resurrection were for me. I trust Jesus as my Savior, and thank You for the gift of salvation, and everlasting life because of Your merciful grace. Amen.

If you just prayed this prayer and have been saved from your sins, then rejoice in the promise that Jesus made in John 6:47 "Verily, verily I say onto you, He that believes on me hath everlasting life!"
